Job Description
Our client is a global leader in designing, manufacturing, and selling packaging products for consumer goods. They are looking for an experienced Mechanic Millwright in the Alsip area.
This is a direct hire position. Shift hours: 1st shift (6:45am-3pm)- 2nd (2:45pm-11:00pm)
3rd (10:45pm-7am) with possible/mandatory OT. Payrate is based on experience $37-40/hour
Responsibilities for Millwright:
-Operate, set-up, adjust, repair and overhaul manufacturing equipment and related equipment as required. This can include fabrication, welding, grinding, etc.
-Maintain all functions of machines on the line
-Perform all necessary quality checks to ensure the product meets documented quality requirements
-Perform preventative maintenance as required
-Various duties as assigned

Job Requirements
Requirements for Millwright:
-Mechanical background and/or experience required, candidates will be tested for mechanical aptitude
-Experience in hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
-Must have own set of tools, the Company will furnish a basic tool list that is the minimum requirement for this position
-Interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team members
-Attention detail and ability to establish and maintain a high level of organization and quality
-Familiarization with computers; data entry/Microsoft programs
-Ability to dexterity/fine motor skills.
-Ability to work an eight (8) hour shift, frequent overtime may also be required
-Process with pre-employment screenings
