About the Direct Support Caregiver role – Provide around-the-clock care and supervision of residents with developmental disabilities. – Provide caregiver assistance with a variety of skills such as hygiene, home management, leisure activities, and living skills. – Assist with transferring residents between equipment. – Follow and maintain all federal and state regulations and facility policies. – Ensure the safety, welfare, and the preservation of rights of clients. – Completes and maintains a variety of documentation on every shift.

– High school diploma or GED – Must be at least 18 years of age. – Valid driver’s license, reliable operating transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.
