Ocean Export Agent Job Details Monday – Friday | 8am – 4:30pm | $28/hr About the Ocean Export Agent Role As a Ocean Export Agent , your responsibilities will include: Enter shipment data into computer system in order to generate required documents and labels, apply rates and charges, arrange export clearance through U.S. Customs, and track shipments with carriers from origin to destination Arrange pick-up of shipments from customer or vendor to Wood Dale location Print documents for shipments, then assemble and distribute as required for export. Assist in visually inspecting freight, ensuring it has the necessary stickers to ship out correctly Create invoices for customer shipments, including third-party and freehouse billings. Provide service and support to customers and overseas offices regarding status, transit, or any shipment irregularities.
